Program name

Memory Weaver — transactional SMS notifications.

How to opt in

You can opt in by providing a mobile phone number and checking the box labeled "Receive SMS Journal Reminders" either on our sign-in page at /auth or in your account notification preferences. The checkbox is off by default; SMS is never enabled automatically.

What we send

You may receive recurring transactional SMS regarding:

  • User-requested journaling reminders
  • Memory prompt notifications you asked to receive
  • Account verification codes
  • Login authentication codes
  • Account security notifications

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS on this program.

Frequency, cost, and keywords

Message frequency varies based on your reminders and account activity. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.

Reply STOP to any Memory Weaver message to cancel further SMS. Reply HELP for help. You can also disable SMS at any time from your account notification preferences. Consent to SMS is not a condition of using Memory Weaver.

Consent evidence

When you opt in or opt out, we store the associated user account, phone number, consent status, timestamp, exact disclosure text and version, and the page where the change was made. This record exists solely to demonstrate consent — it is not used for marketing.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of transmitting the messages listed above. See our Privacy Policy.

Supported carriers

Available on major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
